After years of playing the world-over, from New-York to Tunisia, Tel Aviv, Barcelona and all the best dance-floors in Berlin, DJ duo, music industry insiders and hyped blog runners Local Suicide are releasing their debut EP We Can Go Everywhere on Bordello A Parigi (buy the vinyl here).
Melding synth-pop, disco-house and a vocal sample which will instantly nest into the listener’s head, the highly danceable song drops into a fist-pumping foot-stomping beat with shiny retro synth stabs spicing up the filtered out breakdowns. The single features remixes by Inflagranti (Kitsuné / Domino / Phantasy), Inigo Vontier (NANG / Turbo / Pizzico) and Richard Rossa (Tom Tom Disco / Gomma / Discotexas), the first two remixes of the EP premiered on XLR8R and Thump (Vice) and the video for the single premiered on Noisey. The tracks have been supported by Tensnake, Tiga, Oliver Schories, Michael Mayer, Hermanez, Arnaud Rebotini, Acid Washed, Club Bizarre, La Mverte, DJ T, Baby G, Alkalino, Bufi, Gameboyz, Disko Selectors, Slam, Maceo Plex, Heretic, Future Feelings and Grizzly.
Local Suicide were last seen rocking Off Sonar for the second year in a row after well received performances at Melt and Watergate in 2013 and the duo will be back in town for the album release party and fourth Go Bang instalment at Cosmic Kaspar on June 28th before heading to Sweden and Melt Festival for the second year running.
