Our friends at Your Mom’s Agency in Berlin celebrate 8 years of music curation, education, and activism on December 12. For the occasion dear reader, you can download an 8-piece compilation and even some matching stems if you are interested in music production and wish to recycle parts of the tracks ad vitam aeternam.
The collection of tracks takes you to Berlin, Paris, and Detroit, and evolves from genre to genre, true to Your Mom’s eclectic image, with some subjacent themes about life appreciation and robots – how very contemporary. On the more electronic side, you’ll get techno icon Alan Oldham, no-input whizz Krach der Roboter, house darlings Anna Cavazos & Alley O, electronica savant Eric D. Clark, then things get a bit darker with experimental duo Hyenaz, and lighter again with poppier songs by zeitgeist chameleon Gonthier and infamous trio Plateau Repas, to end softly with a soulful match made in music heaven between Infinite Livez and Kesswa.
Grab your complimentary download via Soundcloud or YMA’s blog from December 12 to January 15…. and Happy Anniversary to Your Mom’s!
