Rat & Co are the new generation of post-electronic chilled music from Melbourne, Australia. Described by Tone Deaf as one of Melbourne’s “best kept secrets”, the band have just released their second album Binary in 2014 on Caroline/Universal Records. The album quickly received critical recognition in Australia where it reached #7 in the Itunes Electronic Charts in the first week of its release.
After sharing the stage with Gold Panda, Chrome Sparks, HTRK, The Kite String Tangle & Snakadaktal and Chet Faker, Rat& Co is currently touring in Europe supported by their electronica mates from Hoodlem who recently climbed the Hype Machine popular chart to #4 with their track Old Friend reaching over 200,000 plays on Soundcloud in the first month.
Both bands will be playing two Berlin shows, landing first on 16th of October at Kaffee Burger, then going in deep at Marie-Antoinette on 17th of October and Rat & Co will play an extra last show at Neue Heimat on October 24th.
