TURN AROUND BRIGHT EYES

After the success of our exhibitions Twist in my Sobriety at Kaufhaus Jandorf in October 2013 (2K visitors) and Open House at Konzulát for Art Week 2014 (1k visitors), it was high time for our one-of-a-kind happenings to take over Berlin’s iconic Berghain with a special blend of contemporary art, live music, vintage digital imagery and new technology.

So on October 15th, 900 guests entered the techno fortress to experience a spectacle of light and darkness, featuring both exhibitions and live performances by an eclectic lineup of artists and musicians: Actually Huizenga, Boris Eldagsen, Dorit Bialer, Hyenaz (live), Jamie Harley, Koudlam (live), Kritzkom + Romain Frequency, Lisa Wassmann, Local Suicide (live), Marianne Jacquet, Martin Müller, Natacha Mankowski, Peaches, Peter Kirn, and Valquire Veljkovic.

The lead-up to Turn Around Bright Eyes was marked by radio shows on Flux FM, Berlin Community Radio and BLN.FM, an exclusive 26-page feature in Fourculture Magazine, multiple articles in KALTBLUT, and write-ups in Vice, Trax, iHeartBerlin, Sugarhigh, Taz, and Mit Vergnügen, with potential online impressions reaching over 2 million.
