Remember Why You Started / RWYS Records is a Detroit-based label created by producer, DJ, and MC Sean Tate aka The Butcher around the motto “Because the most precious moments in life, shine then, resonate within your soul.”
• The first release out in December 2021 is Resilience, a vinyl EP by Strand sold as a limited edition of 250 unique-color copies, and featuring remixes by Stingray, Reel x Real, and Shamus Coghlan, plus cover artwork by famed Afrofuturist illustrator Abdul Qadim Haqq, reviewed on 5mag.
• The second release out in December 2022, Our History Our Heritage Our Culture Vol 2,
is also a limited edition vinyl EP featuring Josh Garrett, Roger Van Lunteren, Sean Tate, Shamus Coghlan, and Spacetime Distorsion, plus cover by Ayana T. Miller and Atomic Designstudios.
